On my last trip to Amsterdam, I didn’t stay in the crowded center of the canal-clad city, but just out of the center at a new hotel called Casa, which I recommend. This was a more residential part of Amsterdam, and there were but a few restaurants around, Dauphine being one of them.

Amsterdam, De Sneeker Pan
In the center of Amsterdam, sandwiched between boutiques, tram lines, canals and headshops is De Sneeker Pan, a corner cafe with outdoor seating in the summer and cozy indoor ambiance in the chilly part of the year.

Pancakes!
At Pancakes! in Amsterdam, they serve pancakes and crepes, which is not altogether that surprising. The ‘!’ at the end of the name is due to the fact that at this eatery they are excited about breakfast foods.

Imagine a culinary journey across Europe, with dishes cooked by the finest Michelin-starred chefs of Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
