It’s August in Barcelona, which means it’s hot. Tis the season of terrace and rooftop parties in the metropolis, however, not everyone is lucky enough to have their own rooftop, or their own large terrace to throw summer dinner parties on.

Never fear! The city offers plenty of 0f high-rise options to escape the heat and have a bite. Here are three to start with:

Hotel Majestic:

Go ten floors up at the Hotel Majestic to get to The Gourmet Bar. A chic rooftop cafe and bar with panoramic views of the city, this is a posh place to start off your evening. Go early, as this one closes at 8pm. Have your first glass of wine and a snack at The Gourmet Bar.

Barceló Raval:

Barceló Raval’s rooftop terrace 360 offers a full 360-degree view of the city in one of the city’s most happening areas. Have a drink here and then head downstairs to their B-Lounge to have dinner. 360 is open until 12 midnight on weekdays, and until 1am on the weekend.

Hotel Pulitzer:

In the heart of Barcelona’s city center, Visit Up bar is an oasis of calm and tranquillity in the city’s most crowded district. Have dinner in Visit Restaurant and then head up to Visit Up, one of the sweetest roof terraces in the city, for a nightcap. On Wednesdays and Thursdays in the summer, head to Visit Up first to catch live music and have dinner late.
