weak drinks and silly policies

I went there on a saturday night. there was no line but there was a $7 cover. I thought this is ridiculous for a beach bar. I'm from LA and used to cover at nice clubs but for a casual place like this a cover is just silly. The bartenders were quick and attentive. No complaints there. The fill their bottles of booze with water

This is the only conclusion I can come to. Ordered a Vodka Tonic, watched the girl pour it (and it was a standard pour) and the drink tasted like straight tonic water.
