My favorite!

This is one of the first places I was introduced to when I moved to LA, and it remains my favorite. The food is great, the portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is generally very friendly and funny. Save yourself the rite of passage - it's not a 'must-do' in LA

Late at night, you stumble into Canter's a order a hot open face roastbeef sandwich with mashed potatoes and brown gravy....no better way to end...or extend your evening.
