Fisherman's Wharf is an appealing spot to pass an afternoon. Lined on both sides with shops and restaurants, it's a busy little pier where there's both good wildlife watching and people watching to be had. Several sailing and boat tour companies also operate from Fisherman's Wharf if you're looking to get out on the bay.
