Diners at The Firehouse enjoy the rare pleasure of truly superb meals served in a tastefully decorated, historic space. Erected in 1853, the building was, not surprisingly, once the site of Sacramento's fire department; it's now a designated landmark. The restaurant opened in 1960, and has recently received multiple awards for its menu, food, and wine list.
