I have banned Sushi Deli for life (sad to say)

Okay, I'm not one of those people to ever bash a restaurant and this pains me because when I first moved to San Diego, I was all about Sushi Deli. Good sushi at moderate prices - what's more to love? Great Sushi at a Great Price

I've been going to Sushi Deli for over ten years. They have two locations Downtown, the other being Sushi Deli 2, and this one is much smaller than the other. This place is fantastic!

After my first visit, I went back less than a week later. I brought my family and we ordered 3 full meals (2 chicken teryakis and 1 korean bbq), tea and 2 rolls for $27. This was plenty of food too! Busy, great prices, not great sushi

On a recent Friday the wait was already 20 minutes at 6pm, so we thought we were onto something good. I have to admit that at first, we were blown away by the prices (great value!) and the variety of creative rolls. Miso soup for 85 cents? sign me up.
