Not like the old days

Back in the 60's and 70's, Lake Henshaw was a fishing mecca. Bass fishermen from other parts of the country would visit Henshaw. Bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill were all plentiful. 40 yrs fishing Henshaw

Times do change, but Al and I love the lake. The water level goes up and down, but we figure when the lake is down it's just a smaller body of water to catch big monster catfish(we have lots of pictures).I do remember when there were fish derbies, and George (since long past away) would clean you...
