why is this place popular?

There are not enough Good Earth Restaurants in the United States. Minneapolis and California are too far apart when one now lives in Omaha. Chicken or Tuna Melt is one to "die" for. Only for the super-healthy (not me)

There's absolutely nothing on the menu that doesn't feel like it was made out of old granola. Some people like that but mostly the deserted tables and the kitschy environment make it clear that this place is past its time.
