What can you say about a 5 star hotel that has been steadily going down hill for the past few years? The major disappointment is the food service and management at Montagna. My husband and I celebrated our anniversay in a couple of places, this was one of them. We were disappointed in Aspen, we're not skiers, it's off season and we're not crazy shoppers...so why Aspen? My husband and I visited Aspen in late winter of 1999. The Little Nell was just perfect. We were so sad to leave. The hotel was situated right next to the slopes so it was perfect for us to ski.
