This place opened in January of 2008. It is an old A&W that has been remodeled. Alan Yard and his son Scott have the best smoked meat I have ever eaten. This is not only my opinion, but, that of EVERYONE that eats there. Idaho Springs is 35 minutes west of Denver, in the mountains, and people come ... a user of Restaurantica.
