I have been eating at the Boss since 1989. They use to have a sign on their front door that read,"If You Want Fast Service, Atlanta is 329 miles." I am not kidding, this was for real. its an oyster place... hello?
I am approaching 60 years old. I have eaten oysters all over the northern hemisphere including harvesting them along Hood Canal in Washington State and cooking them on an open fire. I visited Boss Oyster with some friends on October 7, 2006. The service we recieved was poor and the portions were microscopic. I paid $14 for a shrimp basket that included 8 small pieces of shrimp, a garnish of coleslaw, and some cold cheese grits. Happy Anniversary!
On August 22, 1997 I ate at Boss Oyster with my new wife. As a surprize for our anniversary I took her there againe. When they learned that it was our anniversary the staff could not do enough for us. They brought out a little cake, and really made a fuss over us and our kids.
