This motel is clean and right on the beach. Run by a personable young couple. I liked staying there. perfect quiet get-away!

I found good reviews here--and am gald I took the advice. The Riptide is very clean, very comfortable, right on the beach, but, what makes it better than almost every place I've stayed (commercial or privately-owned) was the friendliness and hospitality offered by the owners/managers. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed!

I admit I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived on a Friday night, it was like walking into a hangout with all your good friends. People all around the tiki bar having a great time.
