If you are new to Cuban food this is the best place to try a little of everything. The selections are the basics, but the basics in Cuban food are the best. The food offered at the various "La Carreta" restaurants throughout Miami is truly great Cuban food. I think it is better than the famous Versailles actually, even though it is owned by the same person, a man named Felipe. Anyway, the plantain soup is my favorite soup at La Carreta.
