Kualapu'u Cookhouse on the Island of Molokai , formerly known as Kamuela's Cookhouse, is one of those unique and colorful experiences you simply can't pass up if you've made it so far along the alternate travel trail as to discover some of the secret delights of old timey Molokai . The Cookhouse is indeed an authentic local experience for those malihini who have taken pains to cover up their pasty white legs with instant tanning cream and added a few floral Aloha shirts to their wardrobe. Located to the east of Hoolehua Airport, on Kala'e Highway and not far from where Highway 470 breaks away from Highway 460, this is the place to come for a real local style dinner. Although open ...
