It must be an acquired taste.

My husband took me to Alfie's, raving about how much he loves the Alfie Burger and he's been eating them since junior high. After trying the burgers, I'm impressed that they are one-of-a-kind, but really not the best I've ever had. Burgers and Ribs

For the last 40 years I have gone to Alfies for the hamburger or cheesburger and never bothered to try anything else the burgers are that good. About ten years ago I tried the ribs. Best Burgers Anywhere

If your looking for a burger in the Western Suburbs, this is the place to go. The consistency of this place is what amazes me the most.
