Working fireplaces in some bedrooms, very attentive staff might make you think you actually DID make it to heaven. more on Fodor's

The rooms vary in size, but ours was spacious, and very comfortable......great linens, etc. The owners can be found every day;she greets guests for breakfast and pours coffee in the morning, and he is in the gardens most of the day. more on Fodor's
