Pathetic food and prices

Elephant walk has some of the worst Viet/French food I have had in the country. The wine list is thirsty, the dinner menu has some excellent dish names but the dishes themselves are overly sweet and do not do justice to the cuisine. Nice but not the real deal.

A clean and tidy spot, Carambola serves up some tasty meals....but not all are as fresh as one would expect. The fish for instance, presumably monk, was bland, and at least a couple of days old.
