worst experience in fine dining
went for anniversary, made reservations 5 days before and spent the dinner eating in a phone booth amid a room of empty chairs, had the waitress step on my foot 3 times. food was good, was willing to accept the expense but the experience was pathetic. WHY THE HYPE!
I"ve tried for months to get an 8 PM Saturday night reservation and was told that you need to try at least 1 month in advance. When my recent Sat. night plans changed, I called Giumarellos to see if they had any openings. I was shocked to find out that they had an 8 o'clock opening. Giumarello's is a food lover's heaven. Everything from the appetizer, to the salad, to the main course to dessert is absolutely fabulous! I have never had a meal there that I did not love.
