My husband and I stayed at the Toad Alley Bed and Bagel for one night on our way through NC over Labor Day weekend. We thought we would stop in and see if there really ARE furniture deals to be had (there are!). What a disappointment!
We were very disappointed by our stay even though the house is charming and location pleasant. We told innkeeper we would arrive around 7 p.m. and were given code to enter -- didn't realize innkeeper doesn't live on premises.
