In an area known more for fast food and faster pickup trucks, Carmellos stands out as an oasis of fine continental cuisine on par with any of the fine restaurants the DC area has to offer. more on openlist.com

We started with the stuffed mushrooms (good amount of crab not too much breading at all which I like) I had a shrimp salad with citrus dressing (definately not too much dressing-I thought I would need to ask for more but never needed to) and my husband had the filet mignon. more on Yahoo! Travel
