Fast food quality at best

If you think Taco Bell is good Mexican food, you will probably do fine at Pedros. The food and service were okay, but if you have ever eaten at the authentic Mexican resturaunts on the South Side, Pedros just does not pass for authentic Mexican Food. Descent prices for good food. Overall, atmosphere is very family-friendly...nice kids' menu selection. Has patio for outdoor evening dining as well. Highly recommend the Cuervo Island Margarita (on the rocks). Not too impressed with the fundito (two kinds of cheeses, chorizo, spinach, and peppers... a user of Restaurantica.
